The farm was established in 2021 as the result of a personal journey rather than a purely business venture. Sergio, an engineer who has been working since years on European Space programmes, chooses to turn his attention also to the land, transforming a passion nurtured over time into a tangible project.
A sommelier, a lover of wine culture and a marathon runner accustomed to the discipline of long distances, he embarked on this journey by purchasing a hectare of uncultivated land in the hills of Piglio, a region where history, culture and viticulture have always coexisted in a profound and distinctive way.
Guiding their choices is a simple principle: from the vineyard to the cellar, paying attention to every detail to produce limited quantities of the highest quality.
The chosen grape variety is Cesanese d’Affile, grown as a single variety on clayey hillside soils at an altitude of 425 metres, with a south-facing aspect. An ideal setting that allows the wine to authentically express its structure, elegance and territorial identity.
